Amanda Bynes ComeBack on Tv Screen: After retiring from acting last month at the age of 24, Amanda Tweeted what appeared to be her return on Friday night. “i’ve unretired,” she posted on her Twitter account on Friday.

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Amanda hit Twitter last month to announce she was leaving acting, Tweeting,

“Being an actress isn’t as fun as it may seem… If I don’t love something anymore I stop doing it. I don’t love acting anymore so I’ve stopped doing it.”

At the time, however, she did admit that she was a little young to call it quits. “I know 24 is a young age to retire but you heard it here first,” she tweeted. “I’ve #retired.”

Following her star-making roles on Nickelodeon’s sketch comedy “All That” and her own show on the network, “The Amanda Show,” Amanda starred alongside Jennie Garth on the WB sitcom “What I like About You” and hit the big screen in such films as “She’s The Man” and “Hairspray.

”She hits screens this fall in the comedy “Easy A,” co-starring Emma Stone on September 17.

Contrary to recent claim, Amanda Bynes is not switching her attention to circus after declaring that she is retiring from acting. The "Sydney White" beauty has her representative slamming down rumor that she is "running away to join the circus." In addition to calling the report "hilarious", her rep told Gossip Cop that "there isn't a shred of truth to it."

The rumor was fueled by a headline on The National Enquirer story that read "It's Viva Las Vegas for Amanda Bynes." The tabloid went on to claim that the actress "is planning an animal-themed show in Las Vegas." It supported the story with a so-called pal's claim, "Amanda loves animals... and she's looking into doing a circus-type animal show in Vegas while her name is still hot."

Amanda Bynes is gonna be pissed when she sees this ... because she just missed out on the best retirement party ever -- in her honor -- complete with a minor league baseball team and FREE CAKE! Turns out, when Amanda announced her sudden departure from acting last week -- she broke the hearts of her biggest fans ... a Class AA baseball team in Maryland called the Bowie Baysox.

The trailer for Easy A debuted online today. The film is largely known now for featuring Amanda Bynes last performance after she announced her retirement on Twitter. The film stars Super Bad's Emma Stone whose character, Olive Penderghast,  lies about losing her virginity to save her gay best friend from high school ridicule. What ends up happening parallels "The Scarlet Letter," which Olive is studying in class. The film also stars Gossip Girl’s Penn Badgley, Lisa Kudrow, and Stanley Tucci. Easy Ahits theaters September 17.

Amanda Bynes has been in the spotlight for years, as a Nickelodeon star, mainstream actress, and now retiree. (She announced her retirement on Twitter recently, at 24). And, over the years folks have said her body has changed quite a bit.

Jezebel got a crack at an early script for Easy A, the upcoming Emma Stone movie that just might be the swan song for Stone's co-star, retired actress Amanda Bynes.

The film, in which a bookish high-school girl changes her reputation by having loud, fake sex with her gay friend in order to bolster his cred, looks like a more raw Mean Girls.  "In Olive's [Stone's character's] world, as it stands in this draft, the f-bomb is dropped liberally, and the words 'cunt,' 'twat,' and 'cum dumpster' also make appearances ...

Olive is a cross between Rory Gilmore, Cady Heron, and Veronica Sawyer: she's very smart, willing to play the game, and she commits to her 'whorish' reputation defiantly, admitting early on that she's perhaps assumed this identity in order to fit some bizarre high school narrative wherein everyone has to play to extremes to be noticed ...

There will be a ton of memorable lines, on a Mean Girls scale, coming out of this film: the script is a pop-culture goldmine filled with references to teen classics like Say Anything."The script may have been watered down in later drafts, but let's hope not, because we're overdue for another Heathers-like, foul-mouthed high-school movie.

Since her debut on MTV’s ‘All That’ at the age of just eight, the now-24 year old actress has enjoyed some mild fame, but announced via Twitter on Sunday that she’s retired from showbiz.

Like many child actors, Amanda was facing the awkward – and often lethal – transition to work as an adult, and chose the easy way out. But her record off-screen may better explain her departure.

Her rise to fame included her own show on Nickelodeon at the age of 13. Then came “What I Like About You,” which won her more fans. Her first movie, the 2002 comedy “Big Fat Liar,” with Frankie Muniz, also did well, and her role as Penny Pingleton in the 2007 remake of ‘Hairspray’ won good reviews.

But several roles since have met with widespread disdain.

Sources tell the Daily Beast that most of Hollywood now refuses to book her. Her agency, CAA apparently tried to stop her self-destructive behavior, but got nowhere – She has now been apparently fired from the upcoming movie ”Hall Pass,” and that’s sent her over the edge.

On Saturday Amanda Bynes sent a simple Tweet to the masses: “I don’t love acting anymore so I’ve stopped doing it.” The announcement shocked many of her fans and friends, many of whom said she never discussed the move before.

Amanda has been acting since she was a child, including her own show The Amanda Show a starring role on one of my all time favorite sitcoms What I Like About You and in various fun, lighthearted films, including What A Girl Wants, Sydney White and She’s The Man. Bynes is a certifiable hottie, but she circumvented the typical sex pot roles offered to Hollywood’s hot girls club and more importantly she didn’t become the child star who becomes the crazy addict looking to shock the paparazzi and for that I’ll truly miss her presence on the Hollywood scene.
