Stepping out to run the day’s errands, Amanda Bynes was spotted making her way around Melrose Ave in Los Angeles on Friday afternoon (October 23).

Joined by a guy friend, the “Hairspray” hottie looked sexy in a pair of tight black leggings teamed with a Doors t-shirt as she enjoyed the lovely weather. Meanwhile, it sounds as if Miss Bynes is among the many getting geared up for the upcoming Halloween holiday.

Busy on her Twitter account, she wrote yesterday morning, “I JUST decided what I want to be for halloween!! I’m so excited!!!!! Oh wow this Halloween is going to be fun!

David Slade's still in the thick of "Eclipse" filming, and in his most recent tweetage from the set, it sounds like there's some violence in the mountains getting underway with some celebration on the side. A few of his cast members still seem to have Rome on their minds, which is understandable given the "New Moon" footage premiering there.

In completely non-"Twilight"-related posting, Ashton Kutcher's been hanging out with Barbra Streisand and Jeremy Piven headed out to an event being held by Matt Damon in San Francisco. Amanda Bynes sang and danced her way into America’s heart in the hit movie Hairspray. But many seem to think that plastic surgery may have played a role in Amanda’s success.

23-year old Amanda has been a fixture on TV since she starred in her own Nickelodeon program, The Amanda Show. While Amanda can sing dance and act, many still seem to think that she must have had plastic surgery to achieve the good looks that go along with her talent.

Amanda’s full lips and chipmunk cheeks have led to speculation of fillers and implants, but given her age, Amanda’s healthily plumped face is more likely a result of her youth and good genes.

Plastic surgeon Dr. Richard Ellenbogen refutes any claims that Amanda has had plastic surgery or needs any in the near future. He says, “Amanda Bynes is perfect. Remember what happened to Jennifer Grey after her surgery…everyone has flaws but the flaws are what make them desirable…did you ever hear Louis Armstrong or Jimmy Durante sing…sheer delight…perfection does not guarantee success, it is the combination of features that makes an actress desirable. In 500 days of summer Zoey Deschanel won’t win any beauty contests, but every man in the audience was in love with her at the conclusion.

Not sure when these pictures were taken, but I like the way these two show affection. Too bad Amanda Bynes’ sister Jillian looks like that or else I’d punch a hole through my monitor out of sheer sexual frustration.

I understand she is trying to grow up her image, but that doesn’t mean you have to show everyone your lady business. This dress is disturbingly too short. Bynes should look to Hilary Duff for fashion advice, Duff looked great at the event at Bryant Park.

Hairspray's Amanda Bynes wore hers first, nearly nine months ago to the Critic's Choice Awards... Keeping it simple with black peep toes, a gold clutch, long luscious (we're jealous!) blonde locks and a dazzling Hollywood smile, Amanda looks every bit the glamourous goddess.

Melrose Place actress Katie Cassidy wore hers more recently to a Pre-Emmys bash... Katie gave the dress a more edgy feel with strappy sandals, black nail varnish, chunky earrings and a choppy hair style.

Amanda Bynes arrives in style at Tao nightclub inside the Venetian Hotel and Casino for the club's four-year anniversary party on October 3, 2009 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Diddy served as emcee for the evening, giving multiple shout-outs to DJ Vice and fighter Floyd Mayweather Jr. The music mogul also gave a brief performance and led the crowd in singing "Happy Birthday" to the club. The evening also included a one-year anniversary toast to sister spot Lavo nightclub, located next door at the Palazzo Hotel.

Take a deep breath, Las Vegas: There are a lot of birthday candles to blow out this weekend. The Mirage is turning 20; PT’s is celebrating 27 years; Ashlee Simpson-Wentz has made it a full half-century; Tao is toasting its fourth birthday; and Lavo is about to mark a year of success and excess on the Strip.

All these birthdays mean three things: Lots of cake and lots of candles -- and lots of celebrities, too. And, since it’s the weekend and we’re in Vegas, there’s more of the latter just because, well, it’s the weekend and we’re in Vegas.

The star sightings will start this afternoon with Mick Fleetwood, who will be at the International Vision Expo and Conference at the Sands Expo and Convention Center. The Fleetwood Mac drummer will be signing autographs and posing for photos, in the Revolution Eyewear booth (that's booth #20063), from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
